Spring!
Yay it’s Spring!
We have been continuing to explore Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. A couple of weeks ago we went to St. Augustine for the Seafood Festival and ended up climbing to the top of a lighthouse, hanging out downtown, visiting the fort and having dinner at the brewery. It was a beautiful day and the pictures can be found here! We also went to the dog track here and paid too much for an average buffet and gross waitress (she told us all about a boil/cyst her co-worker had while we were trying to eat!) at least the dogs I bet on won and I went home with about $50. Needless to say, we will not be back for the buffet or to see the waitress again!
Darrell had to go to Virginia for a class so I spent the week close to our apartment. I checked out the local salon and got a trim, a spray tan from another salon and of course rode my bike around the area.
Yesterday we saw “Reign Over Me”, which was pretty good, and Darrell bought a bike so we can go on rides together.
